Pagan Homeschooling

A Service of Spiral Moon Family Circle

a photo of a young girl with long blonde hair, sitting at a table with notebook and computer. The table has fruit on it, and the surrounding decor suggests that this is someone's kitchen.

Pagan Curricula

Curriculum options/resources books that we know about (reviews to come later):

Little Pagan Acorns - lap books, unit studies, printables, and more. Mostly free.

Pooka Pages - a long running e-zine published for each Sabbat, with learning, activities, and more.

First Little Workbook of Wicca - a great preschool/early elementary workbook for letters and more. Possibly out of print.

A Witches' Primer: Grades 1, 2 and 3 - originally intended to be a text for a Pagan religion class for private schools.

Mother Phoenix Preschool - Pagan-created preschool curriculum.

Pagan Homeschoolers - an Online site with a number of courses, and more in development.

Aether Patches - not exactly a curriculum, but a series of learning opportunities.

MLD & Me - an Etsy store with Pagan themed printables.

Pestles and Potions - a Pagan curriculum (deities, magic, moon phases, astrology, and more). They have a Facebook group for people using the curriculum, and their Etsy store has other related materials.

Build Your Education - A Charlotte Mason based curriculum with Pagan units.

Full Circle Homeschool - A curriculum in development plus posts about resources.

Equinox Learning Hub - A project-based curriculum with related activities, social groups, and parent support.

Mountains, Meadows, and Moonbeams: A Child's Spiritual Reader - a book with simple spiritual explanations for kids.

Pagan Schools

While we're focused on homeschooling, these schools have full curriculum options that are flexible enough to work with homeschoolers, whether in person or virtual.

Spiral Moon Academy - our own school, with mostly virtual options. Homeschool co-op in development for 24-25 school year, but we can cover all subjects if needed.

Mistwood - based in California, with no grades. They have some virtual options

Sacred Grove Academy - an Umbrella school based in Alabama. They have curriculum suggestions, but do not provide curriculum.

Historical Schools

Lest you think this is a new idea, Pagan history holds a few other schools.

Terra Schola, the Aquarian Tabernacle Church's school - short lived, but here's a video showing what they had in mind.

Goddess Moon Circles Academy - back in the early 2000s, GMCA was one of the earliest virtual online schools, with a full curriculum.
